The 2010 Legacy Portfolio
Tonnes purchased from the 2010 Legacy Portfolio will be donated towards offsetting the footprint of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to ensure that carbon emissions associated with all aspects of the Games are offset with real, additional and permanent emissions reductions. The 2010 Legacy Portfolio blends high quality offsets from two primary sources.
BC Projects
British Columbia is emerging as a world leader in the development of clean technology projects. Offsetters and a consortium of BC-based clean technology providers are developing a series of demonstration projects in BC and around the world that will be specifically supported by VANOC and the 2010 Carbon Partners Program.
We are proud to announce the first BC-based Clean Tech projects to the 2010 Legacy Portfolio. Find out more about our newest 2010 Legacy Portfolio BC Projects.
